“ Joint working see’s Leicestershire Police donate home security devices to county Trading Standards” An initiative lead by PCSO Laura Bolton and LSTO Kam Goreczny of Market Harborough Police station, to offer the home security devices to residents in the town, has led to the remaining equipment being handed to Trading Standards at Leicestershire County Council. On Thursday 26th February 2026, Trading Standards Officer Toby Pickering collected the home security devices From Laura and Kam, so that the devices can be issued to the consumers and victims that Trading Standards deal with on a daily basis. Leicestershire Police and Trading Standards share a common goal – to work together to protect the most vulnerable within our communities from rogue traders, scams and organised crime. As well as completing investigations and assisting consumers, helping people to feel safer in their own homes is an absolute priority. Trading Standards Officers will be issuing the devices to anyone who they identify as vulnerable during their engagements with victims. Thanks again Laura and Kam.
